The right CDL driver staffing company will offer a compensation arrangement that is very similar to a traditional trucking company: competitive pay, paid holidays, paid vacations, a benefits package including health insurance, and a 401k program.
Most qualified drivers begin to work for a CDL driver staffing company with the intention of securing full-time employment with a particular trucking company. They consider the CDL driver staffing company as temporary employment until they land something permanent.
At Driving Ambition, we certainly help qualified drivers who are looking for that type of arrangement (see Top 5 Reason #2). However, it’s not uncommon for CDL drivers to decide that they are just as happy, or even happier, to remain an employee of Driving Ambition since they are receiving competitive pay, all the same benefits they would have received from a trucking company, as well as the freedom and flexibility (see Top 5 Reason #1) that a permanent position with a trucking company can’t offer.
